USS Intrepid CVS-11   -   Saturday June 4th - Sunday June 5th 2022

    HUDSON RIVER, NEW YORK CITY: The Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum and Battleship New Jersey Amateur Radio Station will sponsor Amateur Special Event station WW2CV on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th for Museum Ships Weekend 2022.

    The Aircraft Carrier USS Intrepid under callsign WW2CV will join 100 other ships from around the world for the operating event. WW2CV will operate from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) from approximately 13:00 UTC Saturday June 4th until 23:50 UTC Sunday June 5th. Suggested operating freq's: 3,860, 7,260, 14.260/14,333, 21,360, 28,360 KHz.
